Computer Customizing Guide Blog

Filed under: Computers — Owner @ 10:25 pm

As a person who has always built their own computers, the last thing I ever expected myself to do was buy a Dell. As many people know, Dell is basically the industry leader in custom built computers, and they even own the company called Alienware, where they develop high performance gaming PC’s.

Well anyways, like I said before I have always built my own computers in the past, piece by piece. The reason I always did this is because the first computer I bought was a store bought, pre-built one, and it turned out to be a horrible nightmare. So I vowed to myself I would never buy from a big computer company again!

I broke my vow though, because I noticed one day that a Dell computer, with all the works and speed I wanted, was a lower price than one that I would build myself. This really interested me because why pay more when you have to do all the work of building and setting up your computer.

So I caved in and bought a Dell computer. First off, the computer arrived in a very short amount of time, even faster then all of the computer parts would have arrived if I bought them online.

The next amazing thing that happened is that all of the connection ports and the entire setup process literally took me under 10 minutes. It was actually to fast, and I kept thinking I forgot to do something. But I didn’t and it all just worked when I turned it one. I then filled out the Windows Vista information for my new computer, and it took me to my new desktop. That was it! I now had my new computer that was not only cheaper then one I would build myself, but faster, smoother running, and surprisingly still easy to upgrade parts.

In fact I easily took off the the computer case cover, and everything was neatly organized and clean. No wires pointing every which way, or unnecessary metal and plastic.

So believe it or not, that is my entire Dell experience. It was fast, easy and a great deal to boot. They also have a way for people who cannot afford to pay the entire cost right away. You can just pay a low monthly fee, that has a very reasonable interest rate.

Whatever computer you decide to get or build though, keep in mind that the type of computer Dell offers is the type of computer everyone wants.
