First Name: Rosalyn

Operating System (if applicable): Windows XP

Question: I keep getting this message everytime I start the computer. It says: "Generic host process for win32 services has been shut down" to protect my computer.

I send an error message to microsoft and they are no help. The screen just keeps popping up, at least 5-10 times, and I keep clicking out of it? This has been happening on and off for at least 6 months. What do I do?

Our Answer: Hi Rosalyn. I have never had this problem before, but I have found a forum where someone has, and people helped him fix it. Check out the discussion here at http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=180853

Basically, the solution was to update Windows with the latest Windows update, and it fixed the problem. There are also some other suggestions for solutions there too. I hope I have been of help to you, and if you have any more questions just send me an email.
