Operating System (if applicable): Windows XP SP2 Question: Hi, i am wondering about my computer. I like to play video games and i just got battlefield 2142 4 days ago, but i cant play it on all graphic settings to high so i am wondering what will i have to do so i can have the settings on high? my computer is windows xp sp2 intel p4 3.2 ghz ht technolgy 1gig of ddr2 a geforce 7300 graphics card pci express a ECS PT880PRO-A (1.0A) Motherboard. Thanks, evan Our Answer: Hi Evan. The only thing I can think of, is you either have your hardware acceleration set to low, or your graphics card isn't good enough for the game. You might need to get a new graphics card. Try increasing your hard ware acceleration first by right clicking on your desktop, click "Properties", then click the "Settings" tab, then the "Advanced" button at the bottom. Once the "Advanced" box opens up, click the "Troubleshoot" tab. There you will see a hardware acceleration slider, and it should be all the way at "Full". If it is, or you have done it, and it still doesn't work, then I would say you need a new graphics card. You can learn more about buying and installing a graphics card by clicking here. I hope I have been of help, and if you have any more questions just let me know. Poster Reply: Thanks, that was alot of help! |
